Trailer for the 2020 edition of the Leipzig Jazz Days. This truly pandemic-era edition of the Leipzig Jazz Festival, presented under the title “Transitions,” went on to win the German Jazz Prize for Best Festival.

My first trailer for the 2018 edition of the Leipzig Jazz Festival, which at the time focused on the United Kingdom and Brexit. It features a live recording from 1996 in which the wonderful Maggie Nicols performs a jazzy cover of Prince Buster’s song “Madness.”
